I've been really lazy about updating project statuses as I go.  So here goes the update.

I have decided to hold off on the Mystery Lace Weight shawl.  I've tried starting it several times, but it just hurts my fingers.

So I made another Ziggy Scarf one in purple and one in blue.

I don't have a picture of the purple one (which I made for my friend, Cassy), but here's the blue one (which I made for my friend, Jenn).

I had decided to test out a lace pattern (with cotton yarn) for Christmas presents this year.  I really like this pattern which can be found here.

Ziggy Scarf

I used an I hook and I used some of the Cotton-ese in Berry from Lion Brand that I had in my stash.  I will try to get a pic of me wearing it at some point.  I do like that with the cotton yarn ( Read more... )

Finally finished!!!  I started this in September and got frustrated because it was a little above my skill level.  Now that I have improved upon my crochet skills I was able to finish it.

FO: Burgundy Scarf

I ended up finishing my scarf on Jan. 23rd.  I really, really love that pattern.  But I think if I make it again,  I will not use an acrylic yarn.  It is a little scratchy.

I will try and get a picture of me wearing it.
